Celebrate International Women’s Day in style with BEV and Playback Festival 2018, who are taking over the Genesis Cinema for the evening of March 8 2018.

The bar is open from 7pm to enjoy the IWD2018 cocktail – come mingle with the Birds’ Eye View and Playback/Random Acts crews, alongside protests art workshops and a preview screening of Chloé Zhao’s The Rider: one of the finest examples of the female gaze you’ll see all year.

From 9pm there’ll be a few special introductions and short films from emerging artists, and then they’ll preview The Rider, which has been lauded at the Cannes, Sundance and London Film Festivals, and is released by Altitude in September 2018, so this is a super advanced sneak peek.
