Prankster Winfried doesn’t see much of Ines, his estranged, high-powered consultant daughter, who lives in Bucharest. One day, he decides to surprise her with a visit, but this brings tension as Ines is working on an important project. To enter her corporate life, Winfried creates a fictional alias.

Named the best film of the year by Sight & Sound in 2016, Toni Erdmann was directed, written and co-produced by Maren Ade.

The film will be followed with a conversation between Katherine Angel (author of DADDY ISSUES and TOMORROW SEX WILL BE GOOD AGAIN) and Mia Bays, director-at-large of Birds’ Eye View. Plus a Father’s Day poem from award-winning poet Be Manzini.
