Female empowerment has never been more fun in this incredibly sharp and witty coming of age comedy. Intimate, authentic and very, very funny, the story follows the intense relationship between two academic nerds who are very late to the party: literally. After four years of camping out in the library in pursuit of top grades, the girls decide to play catch-up, vowing to have the time of their lives on the eve of their high school graduation. They do not disappoint and on this rollercoaster ride of high jinks, altered-states and teen self-doubt, the friends find love and learn to value themselves and others. Destined to become a generational anthem, Booksmart is a comedy that is uniquely female yet will make everybody feel good.
