Lucy Barclay: film media strategist and Director at Target Media, the UK’s number one entertainment media agency.

Stephen Follows: award-winning writer and producer at Catsnake, who runs one of the most respected research data and statistics blogs in the film industry.

Ali Bailey: Ali is responsible for designing and delivering Directors UK campaigning strategy and works in close collaboration with the Communications & Public Affairs and Digital teams.

Peter Buckingham: Thinker, strategist analyst and doer in film and media, with particular focus on connecting audiences with creative work. His work has covered all aspects of production, distribution and exhibition and has co-founded SampoMedia.

Sophie Glover is Head of Publicity at Pathe UK and has worked there since July 2011. She works on all Pathe productions and on all aspects of publicity from production to UK distribution as well as international; including world premieres at the major film festivals around the world. Her campaigns include PHILOMENA, SUFFRAGETTE, PRIDE, SELMA and VICEROY’S HOUSE. Prior to Pathe she worked at leading film publicity agency; Premier for 7 years, working on a wide range of titles from SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE to JUNO.


Mia and the Board are now developing the 2018-2020 strategy. By building on the Birds Eye View legacy – developing audience initiatives and industry programmes that will effect positive change across the film value chain – we endeavour to be cutting edge change-makers in the push for gender equality.  2017 was a watershed year and we stand in solidarity with all who have spoken out and all who want a new way for film.
