Katerina has been a writer/director/producer for more than 20 years. She has worked in film, theatre and TV both in Europe and the US. After her MA in Drama, Film and Psychology and numerous shorts, TV commercials and music videos, she set up INVENTOME in 1997 to produce her first feature, THE BOYS, a Greek Film Centre/UK co-production premiered at TIFF 1999.
Her award-winning ‘playfilm’ COCKROACH WALTZ  premiered in Greenwich to critical acclaim. Her second feature, MARRIAGE, recently started its festival journey receiving 17 international awards so far in all major categories. Kat’s stories are metaphors-made flesh. She explores the human condition in an unapologetic yet delicate way, focusing on strong female stories for global audiences. She is currently developing her third feature ‘The secret mind of Oakly Carter, aged 9.74’ which is a sweet, intimate story about a condition never tackled in film before. She is a published author, member of WGA and Directors UK.
