Filmonomics-quarterly

Join us for Ted-style data led talks & debates with special guests followed by a pop up screening of Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman & network drinks.

FILMONOMICS QUARTERLY is a new London-based event from Birds Eye View, for filmmakers and film executives who want to connect to the cutting edge issues around gender equality in film, to celebrate new work coming up, and to connect to others who are engaged in the issues. This is the first of regular quarterly symposiums – fun, informative, conscious and clever are the watch words for this event.

We encourage everyone who has attended our Filmonomics programme or other equivalents to attend, but we welcome those who haven’t too but are part of the feature film industry and to attend an afternoon of key notes, lightning talks, networking and thought-provoking debate on film, the current challenges and how we build a more equal film future.

Speakers will include data analyst Stephen Follows (POSITIVE USES OF FEMALE-FOCUSED FILM DATA), film critic Anna Smith – Time Out, Elle and current President of the UK Critic’s Circle (WHY WE NEED MORE FEMALE FILM CRITICS), introduction by Mia Bays of BEV of our new Influencers programme (which we hope attendees will sign up for), a reel of films we are excited about for the Autumn/Winter release schedule plus key note by big name (to be announced).

Ticket will include entry to screening of WONDER WOMAN that evening in same venue 8-10pm
