Rural England, 1865. Katherine (Florence Pugh) is stifled by her loveless marriage to a bitter man twice her age, and his cold, unforgiving family. When she embarks on a passionate affair with a young worker on her husband’s estate, a force is unleashed inside her so powerful that she will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

The screening takes place on Tuesday 25th April at 6.30pm and will be followed by a Q&A hosted by Oscar-winning producer and director of Birds Eye View Mia Bays, with the film’s star Florence Pugh, its writer Alice Birch, Empire magazine’s Terri White, The Debrief‘s Sophie Wilkinson and Gothic Feminist literature experts Dr. Monica Germana and Dr. Kaja Franck.
