Birds Eye View releases The Incident in UK Cinemas

Birds Eye View is releasing its first feature film into UK cinemas. The Incident is the debut feature length film of British director Jane Linfoot. Birds Eye View will be partnering with Verve Pictures for the release, which will be in cinemas around the UK from Friday 25th November…

The Incident stars Ruta Gedmintas (The Strain, A Street Cat Named Bob), Tom Hughes (Cemetery Junction, Victoria) and newcomer Tasha Connor. It tells the story of a successful young couple who see their comfortable lives disrupted and their relationship unravel when they each make a decision to ignore the plight of a troubled teenage girl.

The film premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and was nominated for The Michael Powell Award. It was financed by the BFI Production Fund in association with Creativity Capital.

Director of The Incident, Jane Linfoot, says: “Birds Eye View is a dynamic organisation that has led the way in terms of championing female filmmakers in this country. To be selected as their first release into UK cinemas is a source of great pride. I am looking forward to the release.”
