Birds Eye View is a not-for-profit organisation developing training and events targeted at female film practitioners. The organisation was established in 2002 as a response to the statistic that less than 10% of film directors are female and less than 20% are screenwriters. BEV’s annual film festival, regular film clubs and core training programme (Filmonomics) all aim to spotlight and/or up-skill women directors and film practitioners.
