WHAT: Birds Eye View Film Festival | Opening Night Party
WHERE: The Bargehouse, Oxo Tower
WHEN: Tues 8 April 2014
On Tuesday 8 April 2014, we opened the 10th annual Birds Eye View Film Festival with a screening of In Bloom – Georgia’s Oscar entry film, directed by Nana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Gross.
The screening (at BFI Southbank) was followed by a big opening night bash at one of London’s river-side, undiscovered gems: The Bargehouse (behind the Oxo Tower).
The evening was kindly supported by the British Georgian Society – with thanks to Coin Street Community builders. DJs included Nemone Metaxas of BBC Radio 6 Music and Douglas Hart, bassist and founding member of The Jesus and Mary Chain. The evening was kindly supported by WARSTEINER beer and BAREFOOT wine.
