JENNIFER FOX CONFESSES ALL: A DOCUMENTARY MASTERCLASS ICA BRANDON ROOM Jennifer Fox, director of FLYING: CONFESSIONS OF A FREE WOMAN, is an internationally acclaimed, award winning producer/director and educator. Directing, producing, shooting and consulting on documentaries around the world, she has endeavoured to expand the boundaries of documentary filmmaking with films that address political subjects in unusually intimate ways. Jennifer's films have featured in national prime time broadcasts on networks such as PBS, the BBC, ARTE, and in Demark, Finland, Israel, Japan, Argentina, Canada, Spain and more than 13 other countries. Cumulatively, Jennifer's films have won numerous awards in both America and around the world, including four prizes at the Sundance Film Festival. Jennifer will offer her wealth of experience and speak about her new documentary, the six hour Flying: Confessions of a Free Woman which premiered at the International Film Festival of Amsterdam (IDFA) and the Sundance Film Festival 2007. She will also discuss her distinctive and innovative technique of ‘passing the camera’, a method she pioneers in the film, which we will be screening in two parts at the Curzon Soho.
