From Givenchy and Hepburn, Prêt-à-Porter to Prada and its devils, fashion has always been in film. But now, behind the scenes, a groundbreaking style and purpose is emerging. No longer solely reliant on glossy mags and catwalks, today more designers are using moving image to showcase their talents. A special selection of films by upcoming and established filmmakers – including a Bella Freud/John Malkovich collaboration and a short by Ellen Von Unwerth starring Kirsten Dunst reflect how this exciting new genre is developing.

Followed by panel discussion with Bella Freud (designer), Toyin (filmmaker/photographer), Mahalia Belo (filmmaker/installation artist) and hosted by Penny Martin of Showstudio.com
