In assosciation with SWF, Birds Eye View will be presenting an interview with Mamma Mia! writer Catherine Johnson.
Catherine Johnson is most notable for her stage work, such as Rag Doll and Boys Mean Business. She has also written for such acclaimed dramas as Casualty and Band of Gold. It is her work on Mamma Mia!, however, that has garnered most success. Not only did she write the book for the Tony award winning musical, but she also adapted it to a BAFTA nominated film.
The Screenwriters Festival in Cheltenham is the meeting place and community for screen storytellers in film and television. The Festival provides a buzzing atmosphere where writers can connect with directors, producers, agents, development executives, financiers and commissioners. It offers pitching, networking and hard business as well as a chance to learn from the best at screenings seminars and workshops.
